Are you stressed out, distracted, or struggle with anxiety or depression? Do you want to experience greater concentration and efficiency in your work or craft? Whether you’ve never given sitting meditation a try or you’ve been at it for a while and need some guidance in your technique, this workshop is for you. You will learn many different approaches to concentration meditation ranging from engaging your senses outwardly, to more inward objects of focus including mantra, the breath, and the body. This workshop will be part lecture and discussion, and part practice, so you’ll have the opportunity to learn about how these various styles of meditation work with the brain, why one may be a better fit than others for different people and needs, as well as time to try them out for yourself.
